Is it urgent? Since its simple right, can't the hospital give another appointment? I'm sure she will feel far more comfortable with you around.....

I agree, hospital should be able to reschedule an appointment. And yeah, if your mom is old, for sure she'll be more comfy if you can take her yourself. But if situation needs you to find someone, gotta find that specific person that can take care of your mom properly while escorting her

Dont worry. Im sure this kind of problem is pretty common. It seems like simple problem  however if youre going to the government hospital then it is going to be difficult to get another appointment any time sooner.

You can ask anyone to escort your mom but be careful if you ask strangers to do so since your mom may not capable of defending her self just in any case.

Can't change the appointment date, because it is public hospital.... they don't allow us to change it.

If you simply look around from unreliable source than it is really difficult to know if they are professional or not and quite unsafe. Better look around from reliable sites that provides such services.

Professionalism is one thing imo. Experience and patience are also important when it comes to elderly care. And that person should be able to adapt to different types of people/elderlies

It sure is~~ out of the many platforms, we used this exact one when my grandma needs a break from taking care of my grandpa.... We would usually ask the parttimer to come a day before my grandma leave, just so that she can explain what he likes dislike and needs. I must say that the overall experience was good. Grandma got her rest grandpa is well taken. What more can we ask?

So the hiring time is flexible then? oh man that's really convenient cuz some of us wanna hire a caregiver for just an amount of time without paying for one full month on contract. Paying by hour is much more affordable imo

yup agree.. if want to change the appointment date, it will trouble you then.

Usually, I always see senior citizen accompanied by a bibik. The Bibik will escort them and push the wheelchair around the hospital.

But wouldnt bibik usually been hired on full-time basis? besides someone that does not have medical background might find it hard to understand all the medical terms and medicines...

This always happens to senior citizens. The don't even understand the mechanism of their medicine and just take it for the sake of doctor's prescription. I think its hard esp for diabetic patients that have varied diets.. need someone in the house to understand the meds for them

Things like this should not be taken lightly, sometimes old ppl they even think that by increasing the dosage that they take in everytime would help in curing their illness much faster which is entirely false and might even caused additional harm to them, so best to have someone professional to look after them...

I would still recommend anyone who is looking for services such as this to have a look at Caregiverasia as they are providing all theses services at a reasonable price, and most importantly all their freelancers are passionate with their job and would provide a good experience for all their clients.

Yeah so I would suggest you to hire someone from Caregiverasia to look after any senior citizens that required medication needs as they are usually from medical background such as studying as nurse or doctor so they would have knowledge regarding all these stuff.
